good paint job in the houston area

I live just north of Houston about 30 minutes. Anyways I'm looking to get my 94 V6 Camaro painted I wanna keep it black with two gray racing stripes running down the center, and color in the letters on the back in the same color grey. I'v been looking around for some time to get it painted but I want someplace that is going to do a very good job and not some half assed job and turn my car in a paint craking pos after a few years. If you could post some name of some place doesn't matter where in Houston I'm willing to drive to the other side of town just to get it painted I just don't want to get riped off and have my car looking nice. I know a good pain job its going to cost a pretty penny but I'm willing to spend it so please don't say Maaco

Thanks

I use Eric's Custom Finishes in Pearland. Eric does high quality work, and I would recommend him to anyone. His number is (281) 997-1441. I'm going to get him to do some work for me in a couple of months.

Go to Villanueva's Paint and Body in Pasadena. Call them at (713) 475-2630. Ask for Jesse, and tell them CJ sent you. He will get you taken care of.

I thought Eric wasn't doing custom stuff any more? The last time I was out there he was heavy into insurance claims, saying he couldn't make any money doing customs.

To be honest with you, I haven't dealt with Eric in a while, I know that he does do insurance work, but I didn't know that he stopped doing custom work entirely. It's quite possible.

Not to hijack the thread, but are you from Friendswood originally? My brother graduated from High School the same year as Eric ('93), I was two years behind them.

I had mine painted at Allied collision center off of HWY 6 south by Champion Ford about two weeks ago. There were a few things that weren't perfect the first time around (trim not on perfectly, and one spot that wasn't buffed out enough), but the gave me no problems at all when i brought it back. they just said to give them a list of what I wanted done and they would take care of it. The paint came out looking great. They give you a lifetime warranty, so paint checking or filler cracking isn't an issue. If you go Check it out, ask for Mike and tell him the guy with the Firehawk sent you.

He's a personal friend of mine and the shop is brand new. He's been painting for years and just borrowing other peoples' booths but he finally decided to open his own shop since he's very particular about the way things are and the way the shop is kept.

Guess we'll have to call and find out.

Sorry, no. Plus I'm a little older than that. My kids graduated from League City, Clear Creek, in 87.
