FS 1998 Ford Contour SE - $2995
I am selling my daily driver for payoff of my other car note. You WILL NOT find a nicer $2995 car for your money! This car runs, starts and drives everyday and has ever since I've owned it. I am a major car enthusiast and have taken very good care of this car from day one. Maintenance has been performed like clock work, oil changed every 2800 miles along with fluids always topped off if needed. Everything works on this car along with the very important CLEAN CARFAX VEHICLE HISTORY REPORT (I have a copy for the buyer). COLD A/C
DOHC 16 valve 4cyl engine (very good gas mileage)
timing belt serviced as suggested by ford, work was performed by Dunn's Brake & Tire here in Waco on Lake Air Dr. (very good reputation)
does not smoke or use oil
ABS brakes
brand new Bridgestone P205/60R15 tires
automatic transmission (serviced at 70K miles) shifts perfect and does not slip
pwr everything
tilt / cruise
aluminum alloy wheels
windshield is perfect no chips or cracks
inspection was just done and has new sticker
inside is perfect with no tears in the seats or stains, dash is perfect
driver / passenger airbags
kenwood cd stereo (works)
This car has an ABS motor that is louder then normal but only makes one short grind sound after start up then never happens again when driving. I have had this checked out at Dunn's Brake & Tire here in Waco and they will verify my claim if you would like to check into it. They have determined the ABS motor is not going out, just noisier at start up then most. The body is not perfect, but how many 1998's are ? there are some small dents and dings (not many) but nothing major.
This is the PERFECT car for someone looking for a reliable car to get around in. I hate to sell it but need to pay off my other car's financed car note. This car runs great up and down the interstate and would get you wherever you need to go without any problems.
