yep, I'll be there.

Just need to round up a helmet and replace the front brakes on the car and I'll be ready.

What times are you planning to run? What color T/a do you have?

Re: Ennis Friday the 13th

97 green T/A on factory 17's

It is the green color that changes slightly to purple, blue, green, etc in sun light. I think they call it "Mystic" green. ????????

Probably 11.90's at 115 MPH or so if I can get a 1.75 60 ft.

I do not have a cage so if it starts pulling hard up top, I'll let off since I think they require a cage if hitting 11.99.

Hey Lloyd, the NHRA rules changed last year, need a cage if running faster than 11.50 now.

Re: Ennis Friday the 13th

lloyd, ill be there in my white z28 on white salad shooters with drag radials...i wanna meet ya, ill be looking for ya.

why only 1.75 60' ? if you dont have any drag radials ill let you use my m/t, but i hear track prep on fun fridays isnt good at all...
and you dont need a cage...if i can still get low 1.6 60' shooting for 12.0x

Re: Ennis Friday the 13th

I doubt if I'll see an 11.50 the first night out, LOL.

I still have the base mail order tune and getting 4-5 degrees of KR. I see that I can air it out up top though and not worry about the cage since I am expecting 11.8-12.1's.

I have heard Ennis is pretty slick and I have the 17" DR's (short side wall) and stock TQ arm, stock LCA, stock shocks, etc, etc. If it even half way hooks, it should 60 ft better than that but anyone that knows me will tell you that I set the expectations "obtainable" so that I am rarely disapointed. The car is capable of alot more but I undersrand first night out on a HEAVY *** car with 3.42's that there might be some bugs to iron out.

Dan,

yea, drop by and say hey.

I'll be in the other "loud ***" car.

If the weather holds up and no rain, it should be a fun night.

Re: Ennis Friday the 13th

sweet, havent driven my car in about a week...last nite went to drive it and the batt was dead, so i charged it and it woudent start(loading up on gas) so i pulled the injector wires cranked for a second and BOOOOOOOOM(10 o clock at night) thought it backfired through the intake and broke something, i was scared went and looked as my driveway filled with smoke, luckily i didnt see any damage, so i connected everything and started it, vroom, went to drive it and its got a dead miss, couldent believe it, so i made sure all the inectors had pulse and coneections were good, everything checked out. so i checked the wires, they are all on the plugs and seated, then i start it and turn off the lights and boom, look like a flashlight under the hood, the bracket on the drivers side of the blcok fell onto the header and #6 wire fell onto the header adn was arcing...i rebolted the bracket to the block went out to see why my car was poping on the n20, ended having to pull 5.5 degrees for a 100 shot, but it pulled smoothe...so im going out there with 100 and 125 pills, hoping for 10's

sorry for the long post..hopefully i can get off at 5 b home at 6 and b out there by 730(traffic?)
