okay so Im new to San Antonio, when i had my car inspected here at a Jiffy Lube, the dude looked under the car, i assume for the cats and such. Now i know in nyc they wouldnt care if the cats were moved or not, as long as they were there. How are they about it here? I am thinking about getting some Pacesetter longtubes and some sort of dual cat y pipe or something fab'ed up. At least there's no sniffer test here, so far anyway.

 

SA is just a visual test (for now). If you go to a regular place, they will inspect for cats, etc... basically making sure everything is there that needs to be.

If you go to an inspection station in certain parts of town - they will just check lights/horn/flashers and then give you your tag...
