dude at TAMSCC meeting last night..
Re: dude at TAMSCC meeting last night..
I was in TAMSCC for a while when I was there. This was back in the dark days when I drove an SVO mustang.
If your into autocross, it's a tough deal to beat. I assume they still use the Riverside campus. The rallies were alot more fun than I expected them to be too.

Yup it was me
I thought I might drop that during the introductions to see if I could find anyone off the board in there.I really wasn’t all that impressed with the club. Made me laugh though you mentioned your projects, then around the room people were all mentioning their civics and 4 door sedans. Didn’t really seem like a "Sports Car Club” to me. No offense, but it didn’t seem very seriously run either. I dunno.
I recognized you, sorry I didn’t come introduce myself, I had plans and had to get out of there right afterwards.
I don’t think I'll join. I really don’t know how much of a "Sports Car” my GTP is anyway. I'm thinking I might sell it next summer anyway for another F-body.
I might go check out one of those autoX towards the end of the month. But I’m not so sure how well a FWD car will do in that.

the guys that stick around at actually come out to events are real sports car people. that was meeting 1. expect half as many at 2 :-D
Re: dude at TAMSCC meeting last night..
i used to drive down from dallas to autocross back 4-5 years ago, but got into bikes and lost interest. the whole car scene should natually move towards imports just because of a lack of decent rwd higher hp cars being made, but the nice thing about autocross racing is that you can do it in just about anything and is still a blast. at events a lot of the guys were older diehards and were a lot more serious about racing than the typical college student. seemed like nobody was into drag racing until jordOn got there.
Re: dude at TAMSCC meeting last night..
I didn't go to the meeting but i do want to meet people in the TAMSCC and other people in the area. My GF and i went to Rudy's oh Harvey and met a few people out there and they were really cool. When/where is the next auto x. I'd like to go out and watch and meet some people. Oh and Jordan this is Will i'm the one that sent you an email earlier this past week.
