Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion?

OK, who has been to a concert here? Thoughts on the place? Good/bad? Average? How many people can they cram in here? Was the stage very big?

I went to Buzz Fest there one time, and I also sat through my g/f's older sister's graduation which took place there. It's a nice place. Huge lawn, decent seating if you get into it, very big. It's not the Summit or whatever, but it's nice for a concert... as long as it doesn't rain

16,550 capacity. I've been to about 5-6 concerts there. Stage is very large once the main act is playing and the opening band's stuff is cleared. Maybe 40 yards wide?

As far as good/bad, it depends on your seats, and your personality. I've sat on the lawn and had a good time because the people I was with were cool, but it was pretty far from the stage - bring binoculars! . I've sat as close as 8 rows back and it was an awesome concert experience. If you are shy and are mainly going because you are into the band - as opposed to a social getaway - you probably won't be happy on the lawn.

My .02.
