Well after about 45 days my car is ready for pick up. I plan on going to the local track down the street. Anyone going to be there? Looking forward to meeting some of the f-body guys around here. Does TAD require a helmet? How much is it to run on friday nights? My car should go 12 somthing so I hope they arent strict on the helmet rule! How is their tech inspection?

where you up there in a silver z28 with ss hood i think i spoke to you briefly you were spraying a 150shot and running low 13's man that track was sucking i was i couldnt beat a 2.6 60 ft

 

No. No one answered me so I went on saturday. I did manage to run a 13.0 @ 110 with a 2.1 60 Ft. on street tires. That does seem like a slow track though. I think I tore somthing up in the rear of my car. Now it makes a grinding/rubbing noise when the suspension flexes.

What does your car look like? Mine is silver with black stripes, single tailpipe, on SS rims. Maybe I'll see you around?

i was there on friday night i went up there to see some buddies unfortunately i am on terminal leave and have been for about a month and a half therefore i was not affected by the stoploss so i doubt you'll be seeing me .....my car ran 13.4 stock at this track now dynoed about 60hp more to rear wheels i was barely doing that i was devasteated but ill be going to hrp this weekend hopefully i'll leave with a grin i drive a black 98 z28 with 200s wheels http://community.webshots.com/user/blkbeaz28

 

Tell me about it. I ran a 13.0 @108 in Maryland 3 yrs ago. I go to Germany for 3 yrs. I added a hotcam kit, headers, 4.10s, custom tune and a exhaust and now I do the same but with a extra 2 MPH. I know that Md has better air but damn...

How far is HRP? Good track?

 

hrp is on the east side of houston and its an awesome track always well prepped it would be about a 3-3.5 hr drive from ft hood i live here in sw houston and its a 30-45 min drive
