That was the shocker of the season, I never thought Tech would upset T.U. I'm still wondering how the Aggies beat the sooners?

Upset? Blah.... Texas is over rated, Tech can hang with just about anybody this year, just no one has given us any credit for the numbers we put up every Saturday. Kingsbury is the man and should be back in the Heisman race now. I was at the game, it was incredible. I got to run out on the field after we won. It was pretty damn cool! I guess it could have gone either way. But in no way did Tech just get lucky. I was at the Tech and A&M game and this one was so much more exciting. One more win and we are off to the big 12 championship! Wreck' em!

Yeah, U.T. is a crappy and overrated football team....... and I live in Austin.

I'm so proud of Tech. for whipping them. I'm so sick of the 'horns fans in this city..... I loved watching them cry that day

TU isn't overrated, Chris Simms is.

He's got the best wide receivers in college football , the best offensive line, and he has a ****ty season. That means he is about the worst ****ing QB I've ever seen. I'm gonna laugh when he doesn't get drafted, what a puss.

I am not going to call Tech's win at A&M lucky. But I will say when our kicker missed those extra points it won the game for Tech. If he would have made those we would have won... so we actually out played Tech. And we had a pretty good lead on them until the end. A lot of people left the game in the 3rd and at half time because they thought we were gonna win...
Our kicker sucks ****.

A&M needs to turn it up in the 2nd half, that is when it seems we get beat. And as everyone saw if we do we can win, like against OU.
I wouldn't be surprised if we beat Texas. I am not expecting it, but I wouldn't be surprised.
A&M needs to get out of the idea that we only need to beat certain teams. ie Texas... And play out the season. Some people here would be happy if we only beat Texas and lost every other game ; not many though.

I don't really understand the U.T./A&M rivalry. Most people around here have no problem with A&M.... the only team they hate is O.U.

What are you talking about? Its like the biggest rivalry in Texas! Half of my family went to UT and the other half went to A&M, well except for me I’m off in Lubbock. But anyway I look forward to thanks giving every year just for the game. Its so much fun!

Dude I think the game could have easily gone either way, but I was there. Tech earned that win in the second half and was not out played.

I don't think it is that UT is over-rated but moreso that Tech is under-rated. I also agree that Kingsbury needs to be in the Heisman race. He is by far the most complete QB this year. I think Simms is going to end up being like a Ryan Leaf. He has all of the talent/size/arm but just does not have the head for the game. He will get drafted mid 1st round but will end up being a backup for 8-10 years. I would have loved to see Major Applewhites brain in Simms' body. That would have been the prototype QB for the NFL. Oh well, Alamo Bowl, here we come,

"UT" Kyle

Yea, it is because we are the two best schools in Texas I guess.

I personally like T-sips, and tend to get along with them better than people from other schools.

Wannabe was talking about my post, since you asked... And since we go to A&M and UT we probably know a little more about this subject... BTW; my family went to A&M.

And... We lost that game because our kicker can't kick for $hit, when we miss like 3 field goals, that could screw up the game for us... especially when it happens toward the end of the game! If we would have made those points Tech wouldn't have even had the time to come back...
BTW: I was there too, don't at me because even my friends from Tech knew that was luck at the end..

But a win is a win, even if Tech was out played.

HMMMM UTvsA&M or UTvsOU????
which has been a bigger game over the last 3 years for sure, and going way back traditionally? UT and OU, I went to college in Tucson, so I dont hate any school, but the A&M UT game has not really been as importantly lately with A&M not as good. Then again that Freshman Reggie Lewis is gonna be 3 times as good as people had ever hoped Simms would be. Lewis may change the BIG rivialry for UT back to a Texas team. And I will say that if Tech Beats OU ( big if, but if anyone can do it again... ) and wins the big 12 conf championship after playing Colorado. I will freak out. Tech or OU? BCS???? UT, maybe you can get in the cotton bowl if you are lucky. As far as the draft, I would still expect Simms to go before Kingsbury, he just has more "tools" I thought Kingsbury was just a run and gun QB, but he threw some deep ones that that 5ft 7 wide receiver

I don't have a problem with any of the three schools, and I go to TAMU. I have alot of friends at UT and at Tech, I actually like Tech alot but it was just too far for me. Yeah, the damn Aggies really know how to suck it up in the 2nd half this year.

Tech is way underrated this year. Call me a 2%er, but they are pretty damn good.

LOL it's so sad, it did take me awhile to figure out the 'EatmE' thing. Man I guess i chose the right school.

You Kingsbury bandwagoners are pittiful. The guy throws 5-10 yard bitch passes and his boys get the ball down field! Nothing to do with him. He hasn't hung the moon like some of ya'll act like.

Now Reggie McNeal, he's the man!

Amen!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! McNeal is the shiznit. I really don't care for any of the Tx teams. I'm originally from Ga and like GaTech(even though they suck). Still, Reggie is a bad ****. It wouldn't surprise me in the least to see him win the Heisman. If luck is on his side, he may even be the 2nd person to win it twice. We'll just have to see what Slocum does with him.
