Okay, yes it's official I got the car back and it's in my driveway. There are a couple of issues with it but nothing major. It's a monster! It's got a rebuilt 4L60E and we'll see how long it holds up. This is not a stock 4L60E, it's been upgraded. Let me just say the car has more power than anything I've ever been in, including supercharged cars. I've never had a chance to drive Jims so it's not quite that kind of power, but heads and cam feel like a pinto on it's last leg compared to this. The car hauls butt! We did a few 3/4 throttle runs in Houston and it blew away my expectations. By far this is a high 10 second car easy. I've never felt anything pull so hard at 80mph. I still haven't done a WOT run, and I probably won't until everything is broken in. Doesn't matter, the power is insane anyway.

damn now I want one too, hehe
That good that you got it back. How loud is it?
What of your rearend did you get it installed yet? Well let us know what you run in the 1/4 right now is good weather for it.

Rearend won't go in until the 28th. I can't race the car yet because it's already got the 3.42 gearing programmed in it and it will be bouncing off the rev limiter until I get the 3.23s out. Once the rear end is in and I break it in some I'll be ready to race again. Probably early in January. The car is a lot louder than it was before and just by listening you can tell it isn't a 346.

Okay update on the car, it's not turning over now. Dom came over and helped me look at the car. At first I thought it might be electrical but that got ruled out. We were going to change the fuel filter also thinking that might be clogged but it seemed ok. I've come to the conclusion after running a few searches that I probably need a new fuel pump. I still have the stocker in there and that isn't going to handle the flow I need. So I'll be getting a new fuel pump soon and having that put in. I'll keep everyone updated.

Walbro 255 lph will suit you just fine. The install is not that bad I do not think, I'll look around for the install guide.

BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAH...in under 20mins?
Thats just too funny..Your saying you can drop the rear-end,drop the tank, unplug all the fuel fittings, pull the old fuel pump out, replace the pump, put it back in tank, put tank back in car, and put rear-end back in!!!! If you can do all that in under 1.5 Id give ya a million bux...
Dont do it the cheap way either and cut a hole in the back of the car to access the fuel pump..Go with the Racetronix plug and play kit by the way..very good pump and the voltage actually goes up at WOT apposed to the stock fuel pump wiring dropping nearly 1 volt..

Ben,
You definietly want to go with the racetronix fuel pump. It's plug and play for us '98's. It's going to be the best application for what your looking for and you can always add an inline pump later if you put the super or plan to spray.
