Autoshow In Motion @ Lone Star Park this weekend
Last year they had it @ TMS and I was there on Saturday. Big mistake. So, this year I went on the first day, which was today.
Pretty much nobody there. No lines anywhere, except to drive the C6, SSR and GTO.
I drove auto C6 and SSR, auto and manual GTO, Bonneville GXP, CTS, V8 STS and a bunch of SUV's and trucks.
DAMN, that C6 is nice thing to drive around the twisty course!!!
Too bad you can drive it only once...
As well as the SSR and the Hummer.
Very cool!

Went to the autoshow here in SA last week. It was a blast. They were letting us haul ***** around the track in the SSR and Vette. In all, I think I drove close to 20 cars including the H2 and GTO. I went on a Thursday afternoon - no lines.
It was really nice when you didn't have to wait in lines at all. You could basically just walk from one car/truck/SUV to another.
The guy that sat in the C6 asked me what I drive now and after hearing that I drive a Z28, he said "OK. I guess you know what to do, then. Just don't knock over any cones."
You mean Stonebriar?
I guess the best way is to take 121 to Denton Tap and take a left. Denton Tap turns into Belt Line after a few miles and you just keep on heading south on Belt Line until you see Lone Star Park on your left. If you hit I30, you have just passed it.

Damn, I wish I was in Dallas instead of here in CS. I'd be all over this! Sounds like you had a good time.

Yeah, I'm not sure if that's the fastest way, but the best I could think of.
I definetely had a blast. It was so cool when you could pretty much just walk from one car to another.

Just offering some advice in case you were thinking about buying a real sports car.
Or were you just test driving to see what the competition is like?

was mainly because I was trying to figure out who you are...

Hey, if I get a chance to go out and drive all these cars, you bet I'll be there.
You do have point there, though.I probably can't do it in 06 yet, but a few years later when there are used ones on the market...
