Not many Austin people post in the Texas section but you can go to the austin f-body group forums http://austin-f-body.org/ .
As far as cruising in Austin, there pretty much isn't any unless you schedule something with other people. Austin sucks compared to Houston in that respect, we don't have a nice strip like Westheimer to cruise. People here will take more of a scenic cruise down 360. The hangout spots tend to change every now and then, but I couldn't tell ya where it is now since I don't do that.

I remember back in the day right off I35 when they used to hang out at the Antique Mall parking lot prior to them building the Outback Steakhouse. I'm surprised they didn't relocated to another spot nearby. PM me and let me give you my number so we possibly hook up on a spot. Take care
