For some reason my '96 Z28 keeps having the SES light come on.

Is there anyone in Plano or the DFW area that has a code reader? I'd be willing to buy the beer if someone could help me out? or even fork over a few bucks, I just don't have the money to take it to a shop.

 

I work in Plano and happen to have mine with me today. I work at Alcatel on the corner of Coit and Plano Pkwy. I get off at 3:30pm and can meet you sometime around then.

I just got home, I live at alma and springcreek.

I drove the car today, and the SES light went off though. does that mean the error is out of the log in the ECM ?

Sorry, its a Red Z28 w/ rock chips all over the front end. It sits parked most of the time as I ride my Motorcycle usally.
