I just got my spare trans out of the shop, it was freshened up with all HD parts, Raybestos clutches, Beast Sun Shell, Corvette Servo, etc.
This is out of a 95 Impala SS with an LT1
Has 0 miles on it and built right! Decided to go with a T-56 next, won't need this one.
Really don't want to ship, but I can deliver around the Houston area.

A reputable performance tranny builder who happens to be a friend of mine built it, I have the exact same tranny in my 95 9C1 with Corvette 2400ish stall converter for about a year now with no problems, nice firm shifts.
I know people get scared from no name builders, but trust me this guy knows his stuff and will back it up. I can introduce him to you if you'd like, real nice guy. He maintains his own bracket car and build the tranny's for virtually every racer around here, he has a good rep.

 

Post up or PM me his name and/or shop please. I'm not scared of no name builders, but I know some people down here that probably know everybody in town. ESPECIALLY the racers!

I am actually located about an hour south of Houston in Lake Jackson. The builder has a good rep around here, but the Houston area is a big place. BTW. The 9C1 serves as my wifes work car, I do some mods to it as I find time, but recently have had too many other projects going to do much to it. It is basically stock, but it runs real strong. Haven't had it to the track yet.
