Question Anyone live in Stephenville?

Hey everyone, I'm transfering to Tarleton State this christmas and I was just wondering if there were any other F-Body lovers from around there. Any clubs? Hang outs?

firstgener - Right now I live in Temple, Tx. About 2 hours south from Tarleton on Hwy 36. I can't attend until the Spring semester, but I'm moving up there as soon as christmas break hits. (I have to bring up my GPA a bit ) I own a red 1993 Z28 M6 and a 1980 Z28. The 80 is staying at home, I'm not finished w/ her yet. But, my best friend is going to start this fall, so I'll be up there every once and a while to hang with him. If you see a red Z28 at the house next door to Pizza Hut, that's me.

P.S. - I bought my 93 Z from Cleburne, at the Lincoln Mercury Dealer. Small world

Moving huh? Stephenville seems like a O.K place. I live outside of Copperas Cove in the country. Its great!

I havent been driving the Camaro for awhile. I found a 89 turbo mini and was driving that around for awhile and about to start modding it when I hit a deer with it yesterday So its out of comission for awhile till I can get replacement grille hood ect.

And so the Camaro is coming back out. There's supposedly a Lt. on post that has a built turbo integra type R (black) that is beating the local f-bodies. I think its time he gets put back in his place

Take care man.

Hey Jeff, long time no see! I won't be moving until christmas though, it sucks! Me and adrienne broke up and broke off the engagement. Two and half years.....I need to get out of this town and start again, so that's why I chose Tarleton. Anyways, you should come back up and say whats up, people are wondering where you went!

Yea I will have to somtime. After I got caught up in that almost being deployed to Iraq, it seems I have been in the wash since. I have moved, wife is now here, bout to go to Edmonton Alberta next month for a sis-in-law wedding. Busy around here. So you got a 80 camaro? What are your plans for it? I am bringing a 454/TH400 down from Canada when I come next month.

I am going to try to go to TAD if I can find some good DR's or slicks.

Sorry to hear about the break-up, hope it wasnt on bad terms. I know how you feel. Keep your head up, good things will come...

Jeff

Well, I'm going to completely strip the 1980 down and buy a new wiring harness. The owner before me decided to slice all the wires up and it's pretty ghetto-rigged right now. And when I say strip it down, I mean STRIP! I'm going to have the outside painted black w/ white stripes. I'm going to mold in the louvers on the front quarters and mold in the rear spoiler for a more seamless look. I'm also going to shave the doorhandles, the lower grille up front and the side marker lights. For the interior, I'm going to pretty much just restore it in black. It has power windows and locks, so that's a pretty cool feature for an older car. For the motor, I'm just going to have my friend Kenny build me a 396 stroker w/ a TH400 tranny and put it in. Put some gears out back in a Mosier rear and call it a day. It's gonna take a while, but I'm looking foreward to it.
