I was with the ls1tech truck guys and saw a few f-bodies going down the track. Was just wondering who it was.

 

I was there in my teal Z28 (skinnies and stock rear wheels). I lost my alternator belt on the second run and had to limp it home.

My brother had the green bagged 98 fullsize Chevy and there was another friend of ours with us that had the 2000 SS with black ZR1 wheels.

edit: Just read your sig. Were you with 2 other Fbodies parked right up to the staging lanes? If so, we were right next to you .

No my Z was not ther. I was with my older brother in his 2001 Chevy 2500HD 4x4. He wanted to see what it would do on the track...at 7200lbs, it didn't do much.

I saw the black ss with black wheels. Also saw a teal go down the track a couple of times looked as if the front wheels were trying to come off the ground.
Who had the silver LT1 (I assume) when he would shift into 3rd it sounded like he would hit the rev limiter.

We were parked down at the end of the bleachers.

 

I had the shocks loose so the front was very soft .

I'm not sure who had the silver Z28. We talked to the guy and he said he had (open) headers and that's it. It was pretty loud. He said he was running 14.60s.
