What kind of GPA do you have to have?

 

Hope you already sent in your application buddy because the deadline to transfer in for next fall was last Monday the 15th. I’m hopefully transferring there right now with a 2.7 gpa. I was told it depends on what major you’re looking to get into and the over all pool of transfer applicants into the major. If you have a 3.0 or higher I’d say you good. I was told by an A&M counselor that last year the highest gpa of a mechanical engineering major was a 3.4. So it all depends. From what I understand it also has a lot to do with what classes and how many hours you already have. I applied to an Education major so hopefully I’ll get in with my lower gpa. I plan on transferring with in the school next spring to another major. Good luck!
