U can call a couple of car transport companies for estimates. I had a friend ship a 2nd gen firebird from up north and it cost something like 5 bills...
Its not cheap and a plane ticket would certainly be less expensive if you have the time off.
I sold my caprice to a guy in Fl and drove it to him, delivered it, shopped for my replacement car and drove it back - all in a weekend.
Kinda fun and something I will remember as long as I live.
Good luck!

make sure you take one of those application for title forms with you. you can get them at any tax office, i'd take a few extra just in case. make sure they sign everything right on the form and the title, otherwise you'll have to send stuff back and forth. i bought my gixxer in miami, and all you have to do is have it inspected here in texas, pay another $10 for a "green form" to verify the vin (also done at inspection), and pay the usual used car tax and registration fee. i drove down there with a trailer, and it was 1400 miles each way from here in dallas. a long boring *** drive.

i just bought my 02 SS out of Arkansas, it was kind of a pain but well worth it. ill give you what i had to do... ( Arkansas has no inspection and no registration).
1. if your getting a loan: you have to get the other persons payoff if there is any and any left over.
you need powers of attorney to carry the papers to florida have them signed by the owners to transfer ownership...
then take them to your bank or whatever...
then you have to get in inspected and get a green slip from the person who inspected it ( you need that when you take it to get registered )...
if you are getting a loan from a bank you have to have the taxes in hand (i couldnt add it to the total of the loan like at a dealership) the taxes are no more than if you bought a car in texas
i will say that it is very important that you have all of the other persons information ie the exact name or names on the title and they have to sign it that way. their addresses, phone numbers, and everything else you think you might need. anyhoo i hope this helped
