70mph Karts! Come Drive!

As some of you may know I am a racing instructor for a racing school in Lewisville that races out of the Denton Karting track. I am putting together a group event for all of my friends and anyone on this board that would like to come and drive some 70mph karts!

The first event will be:

Date: Saturday November 26th
Time: 11am
Location: North Texas Kartway in Denton
Price: $99 per person
Speeds: 70mph!
Lateral G's: 2.5!

If you would like to come but can't make this date, then let me know and I will see what other times I can fit you in.

You can purchase additional lap times for another $99 if you are not too tired in the end. Most people are COMPLETLY drained after doing both sessions if they so choose to do so.

It will be pretty close to a free for all session. You may go as fast as you possibly believe you can. If you make a mistake and go off track, it is no biggie. We don't slow you down and restrict you in any way. You are driving a kart that is COMPLETLY capable of going 70mph and cornering of 2.5 Lateral G's on the track you will be driving on if it is driven properly. There is no real scolding for making mistakes. The only thing that is controlled is passing. At 70 mph, it can be a little dangerous to allow free passing in a kart with no mirrors in our introductory course. We will instruct you on the proper apex of all the corners on the track, as well as turn in and track out locations. Trust me, it will be fun! Everyone that has gone through the school can not believe how much fun it is.

Please post up ASAP and let me know if you will be attending. I have to collect half up front to reserve the spot, and you can pay with a CC, cash or check when you show up.

This is NOT a decide at the last minute and show up thing! I HAVE to know in advance. I am setting a cutoff date for Wednesday. If you need an extension, please speak with me first.

I know I am not a sponsor of this board. However I figured due to the nature of this business not being any direct competition for any sponsors on this board, and the limited amount of business I might bring from here, that it won't be much of a problem. If I am wrong, please let me know. I am just trying to extend a deal for an experience to fellow car enthusiasts that I know will enjoy driving 70mph at only 1 inch off of the ground!

Check out the website in the link below for in-kart footage of the track and karts you will be driving!

Man this would be so badass. How far is Lewisville from San Antonio? I'm guessing FAR... like a few hours. I need to find somewhere around here to do this.

It's in Denton, which is north of Fort Worth, so probably a 5 hour drive from San Antonio.

How much actual seat time do you get? If I wasn't 4 and a half hours away I'd probably do it.
