1993 32 Valve Dominion Headed LT1 Resurfaces....

Been a few good years since I've been around but thought I'd drop in here real quick since I decided to sell the car again. I'm on the Southeast side in the Houston area.

1993 Z28 T-Top Car, Clean and clear title (in my possession)
Car was built ground up in my garage so I can answer all questions. The motor is streetable (pump gas) but the car itself was not designed for everyday driving. Was meant to either be a cruise night car or something you could take the strip and not worry about. Has no wiper motor and no emmissions equipment whatsoever and its' been an ongoing project for probably like the last 5 or so years. Just had many life changes and the car has managed to hang on for the ride and my travels. Here's a spec list of highlights:

- Brand new (never fired) 385 ci motor w/Fully ported 32 Valve Dominion
Heads, fully ported Dart Wilson Single Plane Intake (w/fuel injector
bungs), Holley 850 DP and MSD billet dist, coil and MSD Digital 6.

- Coan built Th400 with manual valve body and 3K stall; cheetah shifter

- Custom 4" aluminum driveshaft

- Complete Spohn tubular rear suspension

- Ford 9" rear with Moser 31 spline axles, Spool, 3.89 gears and Strange
brakes

- BMR tubular motor mounts w/tubular k-member

- Flaming River Manual Rack

- 5 x 10 (7.5" backspacing) Pro Stars out back on 275 BFG DRs and 3.5" Pro Stars up front on regular radial tires

- 6 Point Rollbar (painted black)

- Wideband O2 w/digital readout in dash

- Sumped stock tank w/aeromotive A1000 billet fuel pump, billet fuel filter,
billet fuel block and all stainless braided line (-10 from tank, -8 to rails).

- Meziere HD Electric H20 Pump

Thats all I can think of off the top of my head right now and I'll add to the description if I can think of anything else. I'm pretty firm on price as most of you old timers know, the cost of this is astronomical to duplicate but as we all know and have experienced, time seems to change things so it's just not a priority anymore for me. The price for the entire car as it sits now is 10K and that includes all the extra stuff I have to go with it like a Dr. Gas x-pipe dual exhaust setup that I though about putting on the car. I will only separate the motor/tranny from the body for a seperate sale of 7K for the motor and 7K for the rolling chassis.

If you are interested or know someone who is, drop me a line.

Thanks!

Killer deal, this would be an incredible project for some one to finish.

I've seen that car in person on 2 separate occasions. Once at Speedworks and again at RPM when it was finally running.

Thanks for the link! Been away for a while so I wondered if that car ever was finished and nice to see it is. I never clearly stated earlier but the only thing needed to fire the motor is a set of headers. I have contemplated taking the motor out and just dynoing it on the chassis dyno but it's not a priority so just haven't put any effort there. I was planning on taking some pics at some point this weekend since all the ones i have are pretty old. Rain is falling so not sure when that will happen...

From the link above

"Once complete, I envisioned attending car shows, driving it on the street in nice weather, and making a pass or two on the quarter-mile in search of 9-second e.t.'s. After five years of modifications and over $100k invested, I have almost reached my goals."

Wow, what patience.

LOL.....it'll always be for sale most likely until someone buys it. I was watching pinks last night with my bro and he is persuading me to throw some headers on. Problem is price will go up after I drive it

But it's all good, it's paid for and chillin' so its not like its a burden that needs to be addressed. Just every once in a while I'll go in the garage and think someone else could actually be enjoying the car instead of it looking like an ornament.

I refer to mine as the garage weight...you know, to keep the garage from blowing away. Its been eating at me though because as nice as it is to have a cool conversation piece eventually you know you have to do something with it.
