I dont want to do a mail order tune and I dont just want to dyno my car but I want a dyno /performance shop to dyno and custom tune my car/pcm...where can I get this done in the midwest area and what should I expect to pay?

 

Where are you located now? There are a few shops in Northern Illnois area that can do a dyno tune, Outlaw Motorsports, Speed Inc, and Finsh Line Performance.

 

Easily $400-$600 for a dyno tune.

 

I got a damn good tune for $200 out at Dynosport in Lincoln, NE. Dyno Dan knows his LT1's.

 

The prices I stated might be a little high. But with that said, the more mods you have, and this can be just a few, to a new shortblock, H/C, and a shot of juice or something along those lines, takes more time. Therefore more money for the tune. Bipolar, I don't see where a mail order tune would not fill your bill.
