Hey Darren,
You got thing running yet?You gonna run it once at OC? I got the tranny mounted back up and took it out for a ride...clutch is better than it ever was and no vibration or noise...i had action make me a nice 3.5 solid 1350 shaft...but i had to cut the loop off the tq arm mount...so i need to get something welded soon.

Re: South Bend, Indiana

Dayum...I just saw this thead. I feel left behind.

I know Greg pretty well. And I think he might've introduced me to Darren once before. I know I've met Tony before. (I remember that license plate.) Good to see everyone catching up. There was one time a few years back...we were all at the OC when (I think I remember his name)...Derick broke his tranny in his red TA. We all helped push that car up on Darren's trailer. Am I remembering this right?

I'd post a pic of my car, but I don't have one on this computer. I have a '97 Z that's mildly modded. I haven't been to OC in a while...been too busy with my house. And since Greg moved to Florida (bastard), soI don't see too much of anyone anymore. I'm waiting for Winter to break a little more. My car is sleeping soundly under the covers in my garage.

Jeez...I feel old. I graduated from Elkhart Memorial in '94. Hell, back when I went there, they still had open lunches.

.
yep you are remembering that right, though that was a looong time ago. that was back when i had my old POS trailer without a winch, so i still had the firebird too which means it had to be 3 years ago. derek sold that car, but its still around town, though it has a stock engine now. ive been through a couple f-bodies since then and have a red 91 mustang now that is out on the street a lot too. derek now has the stock rolling chassis thats left over from the black 94 camaro i had a couple years ago, and he has a cobalt SS too.
