Missouri Camaro Owner needs help

Hey all. I took my car to the dealer and they said I need a new EBTCM(electronic brake control module) because my ABS and brake light won't go off on the instrument panel. Anyone know anybody near St. Louis, MO who could change the EBTCM? I can get the new part with a weeks notice. The cheapest shop wanted $375 for the part and labor, and that seems outrageous to me! Email me at chrisrsnyder@gmsnyder.com if you can help.

Well, not knowing the year of your car, but according to my 1996 F-Body GM Shop Manual, it looks like a fairly easy job you can do yourself. There's more to it in detail that I can scan a pic of my manual for you, but you drop the driver's side kick panel, work your way inside, and just disconnect the unit. Might be worth just calling some places or checking costs here online, get your best deal on the unit, and replace it yourself. If it were my car it went out on, I would. Feel free to email me.
