I'm headin down there on sat. it'll be my first time racing on a track. i'm kinda nervous. what time does everyone usually head down there? the gates open at 10am and trials begin at 12 but what time does it get done with? i'll prob get there around 10ish, how many runs should i do in a day?

Hey man whats up? Don't be too nervous. I'll be getting there around 12, hopefully a little sooner. I'll be in a 95 blue camaro with shiney quad tips. If you want I can ride with you the first time down the track to help give you some pointers. What do you drive? You should be able to get in as many runs as you want, but I wouldn't push your car extreamly hard (i.e. 15+ runs) I'd say that the track will be open till 4 or 5 at night.

One thing to remember, when you enter the staging lanes, enter from bottom of the hill, DO NOT go in at the entrance closest to the track itself. They will get kinda pissy if you use the one up by the track. (it is a emergency exit if something goes wrong)

oh, i almost forgot, if you happen to be 17 or younger you need to have a parent to sign a release for you.

thanks for the help! i'll be driving a 94 red Z with magnaflow exhaust. i'm 18 so i should be ok with the registering in. do i still need a helmet...license....registration?? idk what all i need? i'd like all the help i can get...i'll probably be walkin around talkin with different ppl about their cars tryin to find out as much info i can about their set-ups and hop-ups.

I don't think you'd need any of that. They've never asked for my licence or registration. You might bring a helmet if you have some mods done, otherwise i can loan you mine(when i'm not running) if you run faster than 9s. Make sure you wear jeans or pants and not shorts. They won't let u race in shorts

Well this sucks that it had to rain today.

The next test and tune is the 26th, I'm fairly sure I can make it, depends if I'll have to work or not.

Hey fastenuf, I'll be getting there about 10 (when the gates open). I'd like to beat the crowd to the tech lanes. If you want to show up then and shoot the shiat I can help you get oriented. I'll probably park off to the right as you come past the ticket booth, then move closer to the track after all the big boys get their spots picked out.

Hehe, I'll prolly stand out too, 17 year old punk, blue v6, shiney exhaust, thinks its the baddest **** ever. lol j/k

Damn guys im going on sunday, all my friends have to work on saturday. Ill be there sunday at about 10-11am. Ill be in my iroc that has a black hood and drivers side fender, the rest of the car is red......also either a burgondy zr1 corvette or another really nice red iroc.

Also with me will be a 99 conv. gt mustang. 95 burgondy gt mustang. Hope to see you guys there.........sorry i cant make it on saturday.

BTW, when you guys come down there, look for me parked beside a blue older bodied lumina. Thats our little food shack, since the price of food and pop is so damn expensive there, me and a few friends are bringing a cooler full of munchies. stop by and put back a few....err pop's.
