Midwest Chassis

They are near Peoria. I spoke with him, its about $125 a point...but Im certain it wouldn't cost so much for the 8 point. That is his installed price. He does alot of F-Bodies from what he says, and seems to do a nice job.

I have talked with Midwest. They do real nice work. I'm actually going to use their fabbed nine unit for my car.

Is the $125 for mild steel or chromoly? I'm guessing steel.

Problem with midwest is I'm in Chicago so to trailer the car down there 3 hours then go get it is a big PITA.

I'm leaning towards someone local.

Yeah, 125 is steel, 150 is chromoly from what he told me, I believe. You'd have to double check with him. I dont think Peoria is that far from you?! Im from davenport iowa, and its only 2 hours on average to O'Hare.

I got some pics of the midwest 12 point. I had a few extra bars added just incase(sill or rocker and dash). Great work at a fair price. It may take him a little more time then some but it is tight against the doors and roof.

I'm also running his fabbed 9" and it is a great rear end and torque arm combo.
