Where can I go to get a bullet proof trans built? I want it to handle around 600-800RWHP. I also plan on going with a 3200+ stall. Thanx for the imput!

 

For that kinda power you'd be looking for a th-400 maybe even a glide if you're pushing the upper end of what you stated. What kind of power adder are you going to be using on that motor? Depending on what kind and how your cam is my bet is 3200 is gonna be much to low, you probably want one with something in the 4000-5000 depending on your app.Your best bet would be to give finishline performance a call they're very good with transmissions and 4th gens and I'm sure have converted more than a few car to a 400. Another thing you may want to consider is how you'll be driving the car, if you like the street I'd get the th-400 as it has 3 speeds (gear vendors makes an overdrive unit for it as well), glides only have 2 speeds......need i say more. One other option would be a built t-56 if you're into manuals, any of the aforementioned trans built correctly while handle that kind of power without problems.
