WTF idle air HELP

ok so concidentely after installing a whisper lid and k&n after a couple days my car starts idleing real high. im like its prolly the idle air control. i also put the stock air intake back on. i also had the codes checked and thats what it said. i put in the new idle air control valve and the problem didnt go away. i also had the computer reset. still no better. i also put in a new IAT sensor. still no better. this has been goin on for a week now. i keep driving it hoping that it will adjust itself but it hasnt. sometimes it runs perfect but most of the time it idles at 3000 rpms sometimes it even idles at 500 rpms and dies. please help its burning up the new clutch and killing me in gas and ive never had such a ****ed up problem with any car ever. i need help now. make my car idle correctly.
