Will these tires work on a 93 Firebird?
I have to replace all 4 tires and I was wondering if the Goodyear Eagle GS-C tires(245/50 ZR-16) would work w/o any modifications. What is the largest tire/wheels combo you can use?

They will work fine. I've gotten over 25K miles from mine already. First about 15K on my Z and now over 10K on my Firebird.
EDIT: Oh, and the biggest tire you can fit without any problems or modifications is 255/50-16. Unless you want to go with 17's.

they shoudl fit, I think you can go as wide as 275s on 16x8s even though they are a bubbly fit.
I have 235 50 R16 on my stock sized salad shooter rims, I think stock form the factory they would come as 245 50 R 16 on z28s.

Only thing is that I'm in CA, and shipping is like $100 plus for those 4, so I'd really prefer that they be picked up.

Actually, they're Eagle Alloy 5-spokes. I'm just trying to unload them, like I'm asking $200 for all 4, with the old Firestone Firehawks on them.

What kind of rims are they? What is their condition?

I have 245/50/16s right now...not on the stock rims, but my friend has the same year car as yours and he has 245/50/16s no problem.
245/50/16s should be a good fit though...they look better and you get more rubber to the ground. I've heard bigger tires handle worse in the rain than smaller tires though I haven't noticed any difference.
