Will an SS hood it on my v6?

Will a SS hood fit on a v6 car? If I wanted to put a SS spoiler on my car, does my stock spoiler just unscrew somewhere? How do I get it off?

Yes a SS hood will fit on your car, as far as taking your spoiler off you will probably have to take apart the inside of the hatch and will probably find some bolts holding it on

Why would you want to do such a thing? Is your car stock? I mean think about it........what if it was? And a honda pulled up next to you NOT knowing what an SS was and how to find out everything about the badging and stuff like that. And they race you or whatever and beat you......there gonna go to all there little friends claiming "I JUST BEAT AN SS YESTERDAY!!" when they did nothing but beat a standard camaro. Why would you want to detune the Camaro SS? And make it not what it really is?

Maybe he likes the look....... Do whatever want dude, I have a V6, i get all the guff people talk too. Personally I think the SS hood is to much money to spend on a V6. Save up and get some ground effects or rims. Good luck with your car

p.s.- The real Camaro SS can hold up to almost any ricer, and it doesn't matter what kind of camaro a ricer beats they will always say it was a z or ss......same logic they use to improve horsepower through stickers, ha ha ha

lol yup. I say that stuff all the time. But ya my firneds uncle has a 2001 camaro ss and we go for joy rides in it sometimes.

I remember the day my friend was driving me home in it and it was at night (like 1 in the morning) and I noticed to our right there were some neon head lights approaching us. And my friend was like "wow this isn't cool I'm gonna have to teach him a less" and my friend let the car get just along side us when he floored it and left him in the dust. He got close enough that I was able to see he had his rims and ground effects and 6 inch muffler and it said vtech on the back. Then we cought him at a red light. And when the light turned green. VROOOOOM someone got wasted!

hood

I just like the look of the SS hood and spoiler. I just want the look of an SS without the price tag. BTW, If i ever got beat by a honda I think I would cry Since my car is a v6, I know its not going to be to terribly fast, so I figure I should go ahead and go for looks. Good point though with the honda.

well I"m sure you can inilate almost any stock *** car out there ESPECIALLY ANY CIVIC!!! except for the higher end *** cars like RX'7's and NSX's and stuff like that. But your comparing people getting there little ricer and putting 15000 dollars worth of steroids into it.

so if he didn't know about the badging.....how would he know the diff between hoods on a SS??

My opinion would be to go for it! The other guy is right if they beat a camaro or any f-body they always think is was a Z, TA formula, SS, or a Zo6 or what not. And of course he thinks," I think it was one of those years that had a vett engine in it!!"

IUt will fit jsut rember it has to be a 98+ if oyu have a 98+ car and a 93-97 if you have a 93-97 car.

I have thought about doing a SS spolier only, I kinda like it but, I spend my money on other things.

so many of these junior members make me laugh does it bother you that much if a ricer "thinks" he beat an "ss"? Man if it does you have some major issues and should seek psychiactric help.

Could you recomend one? It does **** me off when a ricer says he beat an SS because then he tells all his friends and all his friends come up to me and say oh hey I have a friend that beat an SS. Don't get me wrong though there are some nice people who owns rice rockets but sadly the majority of them get a CAI, ground effects, a fart can, decals, and go around claiming they beat V8s.

Man thats a shame we wouldnt want any people with 4cylinders or v6s saying they beat the almighty unbeatable v8, there are so many cool guys here with v8 who know there are some sixes out there that would give them a run for their money. Fyi just because it has 8 cylinders doesnt mean its the fastest thing on the road.
