I dunno if it's the cold or what but my 2k1 V6 which has like 75,000 miles on it is rattlin at the exhaust...When I go to warm up the car the rattling can be heard loudly..But when it gets to half way on the temperature gauge it doesn't rattle as much...It's a stock exhaust I just want to know what's going on?

 

its hard to say without being there.. are all your heat shields held on tightly?

thats really weird that it goes away when it gets warm

 

check your cat. Mine was broken and rattled alot usually only when it was cold. Either that or just make sure everything's on there tight and nothings loose. Why so many miles on your maro? Mines a 96 with only 64000

are you kidding me. I drive everyday. I have to fill up every 4 or 5 days which isn't all that great in my opinion. When i bought the car almost 3 years ago, there were really low miles (not km's) on it.

His car is only two years old and its got 75000. Do the math and thats almost 38000 miles a year. Thats alot of driving if you ask me.
