wheres the fuel filter on our cars

Don't have a manual handy, I have a 96 3.8 and was wondering if anyone knows off hand where the fuel filter is. Got 70,000 on the car and I figure it could use changing. Thanks in advance Jason

Get under the car and look on the drivers side right infront of the rear tire. You'll see some fuel lines and a little cylinder thinger (the fuel filter). Shouldn't take more than 5 minutes to change, be sure to relieve the pressure in the gas lines and look out for the gas, it will drip all over.

Thanks alot, I am guessing by relieving the pressure, you just take the gas cap off right. Thanks again

there is also a little valve on the fuel rail that is used for testing fuel pressure that can be used for relieving the pressure, i personally did both when i did my filter
