Whats the matter with this thing?
Alright, heres the low down. The other day my car blew a fuse, so i replaced it. The next day a different one blew, and i replaced it and it blew again. Any suggestions?
ok, i thought maybe my cd player had something to do with it so i put the stock unit back in. then i replaced the 2 blown fuses. Then i when i turned the car on, the fuse for my instrument panel went out. what do i need to check?
you have a short, may have to get a tester light, maybe a multimeter. And track down the short, it was bitch in my 85, I cannot imagine the nightmare of a 4th gen.
I woudl check all areas visually that have mvoing parts or you may have touched recently, you said you had a radio in the car? how recently ws it installed, check, the ign power, and constant power wires on the radio.
makes you feel better, my AIR fuse, blows out everyday uf I change it, luckily I could give a rats *** about it so I jsut let it stay blown.

see the thing is, i havent had my car for over a month(just got it back last thursday, it was wrecked) and so i took my cd player out while it was being fixed. when i put it back in thursday night, it was fine(all i did was reconnect the plastic connectors). the first fuse blew out on saturday . im going to ask the body shop if they messed with anything.
