anyone know the size of a gas tank on a 96 3.8 camaro??

 

Its 15.5 gallons. I one time ran my 96 3.8 camaro completely out of gas and had to push it into the station... I missed it by a few yards... stupid stop light!! anyways the meter read 15.6 or 15.7 gallons completely topped off (fill to spill). Different from the 3rd gen which I could get 16.5 gallons into without running out

I think it was in either 98 or 99 that they changed it to 16.9

Third generations and the fourth generations through 1998 have a 15.5 gallon gas tank.
