Question What plenum is the best?

What is the best plenum?
I have herd that the 3.4 plenum isn't that great so that leaves the 2.8L or 3.1L?
Is there any difference in the 2.8L and 3.1L?
I have the 91RS and the 85 and there plenums look the same on the out side. The 2.8 is the only one I have realy taken apart(for cleaning).
As far as I can tell the 2.8 and 3.1 are the same except for there "2.8" or "3.1" markings.
