what can i do to get my 1997 v6 to perform better for cheap??
I raced an srt4 yesterday and i was with him until the turbo kicked in but afetr that he left me. What can i do to get more performance?
I was thinking headers and dual all the way back. would that help me much?
And what other stuff can i do?

Most bang for the buck is in forced induction. Intake/exhaust on our cars (you have a 3.8, right?) really won't make you win many more races, but it'll sound better and be a little quicker.
Personally, I put in a cam, tune, rearend, pushrods, valvesprings/retainers, intake, catback, headers and the outcome is awesome. I raced a mod'd LT1 guy and stuck with him until around 70. However, my gas mileage is pretty bad now, especially highway..
