what cam specs?

Well now that I've gotten a consistent job, I'm trying to plan out the mods i'm gonna do over the next year or so. I've already replaced all the brakes with Wagner products. I plan to upgrade in the following order:

CAI
Flowmaster Catback
Hedman Headers + y-pipe
high-flow cat
cam w/intake
160 thermostat
maybe some aluminum heads from a 3.1

Anyways, may biggest questions is what cam specs should I look for, keeping in mind that this is a daily driver. Whats the most aggresive cam i can get without having to change the heads? Any input would be much appreciated.

aluminium heads and no short block modification mean about a 12:1+ C/R. I guess you could hog out the combustion chambers for a few cc's and bring down the combustion ratio to a high 11:1.
The stock cast iron heads with there stock springs and other parts are good for .440'' and thats pushing it.

a 3X00 head swap is probably more work than you realize, you will have to use the manifolds from the alumnium heads, get the fuel rail for them , extend the throttle cables, figure a way to get your exhaust manifolds to work, or buy headers and modify them, and a whole lot more that im not listing in adition to the CR problem mentioned above.. its not an easy task
