i have a 3.4L engine left over from my brothers v8 swap and i was going to put it in a 4x4 i was wondering what automatic transmisions would bolt to it i think a 700r4 will but im not sure what else will ( th350 of 400 maybe but i dont think so) if someone could please tell me what tranny they know will fit it i would be greatly appriciated

 

I know the 700R4 will not work, it's for the 8s. Not really sure what tranny's the 6s use

 

my v6 has a 700r4 make sure its for the v6 though theres also a 200? or somthin tranny as well but its a 3spd no od

 

Thats weird, didn't think the 700R4 would bolt up to the bell housing on both the V8s and V6s. Hmmm Unless I'm thinking of somethin' else.

yeah a 700R4 for a 60* engine will work as well as an A4L60E for a 60* engine..
