I'll give you a hint that will save your life. The bolts on the water pump are left handed. It's a rather simple swap.

I got my new water pump at Auto Zone...it was a good price, and it has a Lifetime Replacement Warranty on it. I think it was this one.

If you still want directions, shoot me an e-mail. I don't want to take a lot of time to type them up here if you aren't even going to come back and check this thread...hope you understand my reasoning. Dom, I'm not contradicting you, but on my 3.4L ('94), it was standard threads...not saying yours wasn't left handed, but mine was standard...So the best way to find out for you I guess Snoman, is just to test it out on one of the easier to get too bigger (upper) bolts. There is a certain way to do this that will help you out very much, I just did it less than a month ago.
Check out this thread. That doesn't supply you with much info, but it kind of gives you an idea of what you gotta do. E-mail me when you read this post if you want a guide of some sort, and I'll do what I can. After you know what to do, it's not that big of a deal.
