Question Vortec truck engine swap

I've really been considering this swap into my car since the engines are plentiful and cheap

anyway, would this swap in just as an LS1 Fbody engine would? All the engine packages i have found include the tranny, all wiring, etc. etc.

It is too tall as sits...if i take the "vortec" thing off the top of the engine, i think it'll clear under the hood, i'll have to measure the one in the truck to find out

the 4.8/5.3/6.0 liter family of engines are pretty strong...the new extended cab trucks are pulling low 15s stock...so i can imagine with all the less weight of my car what would happen

So is this a realistic swap? or will the odds and ends eat my budget to death....thanks for any info anyone can give me.
