i have recently purchased a 95 camaro its my second 1995 3.4, i own 2. i built the first one from scratch so it was a bit of a frankenstien car. so that being said i know my way around this vehicle fairly well, but i bought one that is already locked down in security mode it is supposed to be mechanically fine but the vats system has it locked down. so i have my 1st camaro on the other side of our yard and i thought well ill see if i can pull the bcm, the switch key, the ecu, and a relay out from under the dash that clicks when the starter should engage out of my other car and put in this one to see if the electronics is all thats wrong with this one i moved everything over and it still has the security light on (not flashing) starter and fuel pump still will not engage.? any help and all advise welcome and thanks in advance. sorry post is so long just wanted to take the guess work out of it for everyone else.

Since earlier i have turned the starter over with a starter remote. I sprayed ether in the intake while turning starter over with the ignition on and I thought it was gonna fire up for a second but it didn't it just bogged the starter and slowed the revolution speed. The security light is still on. Was told by neighboring gear head that I would have to take the stock bcm for the car and have it flashed at gm dealership anyone have any other theories or ideas?

They didn't add a BCM unitl 1996.

Thanks for correcting me there it is a vats control module but I have already tried to bypass the key with a resistor. Still didn't have any luck

Checked and I have no spark at plugs????? Fuel pump is definitely getting fuel to the injector rail not sure from there though
