ok i recently installed

226/236 .494/.506 lsa 112* cam
roller rockers
ported heads/intake
shaved .015 off heads


ive ran it a few times but now it either wants to idle at 3k or not at all really.. i hear a whistle on the road but i spray everything and the idle does not change..i also have a check engine light on and the trans is shifting really late and hard....


2 things what should my vacume be at? and also if my battery is at 12volts but the alt not charging can that cauz that?

and how can i diagnose this thing??

 

you should be right about 19 inches of vacuum. grap a gauge and take a test off the intake and find out.

 

also i think my tps is screwed up im changing that today to find out..if i unplug it the idle goes down allot thx
