Hey I'm planing on swapping my v6 5 speed to a lt1. I was told I can change the bell housing on my trans and change the kmember and I should be ok. Is this true? I no I need to change the springs and my drive shaft. Any help would be appreciated thanks. Also how hard is this swap.

 

no the 5speed tranny wont hold up to an LT1, you'll need to get a t-56 and if i remember right you will also want to beaf up the rearend
