Exclamation V6 guys need ur help on something...

Tomorrow morning i am going to take off the cat, after i unbolt it and take off the clamp does it just slide off or do i need some special tool? and should i take the o2 sensor from the old cat into the new pipe? and one more thing would i still be able to use the old clamps that was on my old cat? help me out guys, thanks

will it slide off?- no, rust sucks.
special tool?- hammer
new O2 sensor?- yes
slpurge for those new clamps too.

i cant remember if there is something else holding the cat on!

I was able to get the bolts off fairly easy... just took a lil extra cursing and banging but I made it out alrite

Like camaroKID said... replace the sensor while you're at it. Be sure to either squint like hell while you're under there or wear goggles. I don't think your eyeballs are very good friends with rust flakes

use some good anti-seize lube, and u won't have a problem gettin em out next time

yep also have to unhook the exhaust hanger clamp. jsut some bolts, elbow grease.

As for getting the CAT off the I-pipe, I spun it in a slight circular fashsiopn and it came off jsut tok some patience.
