I have a Jet Stage II chip in my car. I noticed a slight increase in gas milage and a little bit on the high end on the freeway. Overall, I'd say it's paid for itself in the money I saved in gas. I get pretty close to 310 miles to a tank.

stage II will firm up shifts a little, and it will also turn fans at lower speed. It will also mess with the a/f ratio a little? (i am not sure on that, i think that was Hypercrap) Stage II works well with a lowe thermo

None of the Chips firm up shift points unless the JET power shift option is ordered (if available)

They work well with DIS (no distributer) cars since you can't advance the timing yourself.

My friend has a Jet Chip stage 1 and i personally wouldnt pay full price on it. Go to www.camarov6.com or somewhere and pick one up used. they arent bad on a otherwise stick car IMO, otherwise they dont really do that much...

I agree with Cheese48. They don't provide that much of a difference if paying full price. Get a used one. But like I said, it's saved me some $$$ on gas in the long run.....IMO that is.
