Someone please help i wasnt sure if i should post this in advanced tech or not but i believe that i have cracked the head on my 96 3800 series II motor. the water pump and thermostat went out at the same time in pensacola and i live in Gulf Shores so that was about a hour and a half drive back home i stopped every 15-30 min to put water in it but when i got home it was knocking very loud. The next day i put a new water pump, thermostat, changed the oil, and put new coolant in it. it drove alright for about 3 days or so and now every time i idle it wants to die and is knocking very loud again. i put more water in it and it stops knocking but still runs rough. i afraid i have cracked the head on it. if anybody has a 3.8 liter or bigger for sale PLEASE let me know ASAP.

Definatly not an advanced tech question, but the above advice is a good idea.
