Angry Turn Signal Problem

Ok I don't know what's up with my right turn signal. It only works sometimes and other times the right arrow is lit up solid (not blinking) on my dash. I replaced the front and rear bulb, the front socket, and the turn signal switch. I have already spent quite a bit of money on this and it will work for a while so I think it's fixed, but 2 days later it stops working again. Is it possible it could be a fuse or maybe a wiring problem???? Help me out here guys!! Thanx

whenever you use your blinkers do you hear the relay clicking? Possibly go to Pep Boys and pick up a $5 turn signal relay and change it out. It's underneath the dash on the drivers right side. Sort of behind the radio under the dash. The little metal clip that holds it in place is kind of a pain, but have some patience. Very simple fix. That's more than likely your problem.

No. When I turn the right signal on I don't hear anything!! It just stays lit up on my dash until I complete my turn and then goes away. Does not blink or click. I'm gonna go get a heavy duty relay and try that to see if it works.

When my right TS went out, it did the same thing yours did: Just stayed lit up. Turned out the be the turn signal thing that kahuna talked about. Replaced it, and problem solved

i had a problem similar to this. the relay will probably work, but if not just take a rag and wipe out the gunk inside the rear taillight socket. not all of it, just enough to make a small difference. and if all else fails, you have a loose ground wire somewhere or one the the sockets is fried. Good Luck!!

I have the same problem....right turn signal refuses to blink sometimes. I've noticed it stops after hitting a large bump...another large bump and it will start working again.

My best guess has been a loose bulb in the right rear socket. For the life of me, I can't figure it out because the blinker relay/unit works fine
