transmission question

will the transmissions on the v6 hook up to the v8 if you do an engine swap, or do you have to get a new transmission w/ the v8 as well?

Depends what tranny you are talking about........If it were me I would get a better tranny then the V6 offers, because the tranny isn't designed to put up with the torque that the V8 produces.

so the 4L60E that's in my car (V6) is different from the one that's in the V8? i guess my best bet would be to just buy an engine/trans package if i was gonna engine swap
