Torque Converter

After my heads are done being ported in polished my next step is a new performance upgrade, what would you recommed for a torque converter if one at all for the 4.3l or should i go with cam? remember its a daily driver as I am so young

you should get a cam..then base the stall of the converter on the rpm band of the cam if you decide u want one

the prob with that is, the gas economy, my mpg would go from 22 down to around 15, and im not even 16 yet so that would be kinda bad

why do u think u would loose gas milage?

jus dont go extreme with the cam

a converter will hurt gas mialage more than a mild cam as well

I think i wouldt get hurt worse by the cam just for the simple fact of having to make it meet my supercharger

hmm i didnt see that lol

well then if you dont do a cam and your running the super charger then get a converter that stalls where the power starts to pick up..i would guess about 3k rpm one
