Track times and dyno for the charged 3.4

Well got to the track last weekend and the dyno this week car made 184 horse and 223 ft/lbs of torque at the track traction was not to be had but did manage a 15.0 @ 89 mph also the car is still running out of fuel so it looks like even bigger injectors to come. there should be more power to come after the fuel issues are taken care of.

Re: Track times and dyno for the charged 3.4

I was looking through some past posts and all I could find was 166 hp after this swap. So I guess if you worked that back to crank hp then yes 200would be about right, Now my numbers are at the wheels so that could be figured back to something like 216-240 depending on how much drive line loss you would like to use. This is still in development and there has been an increase of 50hp and 50ftlbs and the thing is running out of fuel at 4500 rpms. Once this is corrected there should be higher numbers to report.

Did you buy your vortech kit off a guy from the CamaroV6 forums? or was it on eBay? If so, I know the guy you bought it from. His was a built motor and with that setup it was over 300rwhp.

How much boost are you running? Numbers seem real low.

Tiago
The car is running 8-9lbs of boost but the air fuel mix is 15:1-17:1 so the car does not have the fuel to make the power from what I understand we are putting in bigger injectors next may use either 21 or 24 lb injectors. 19 lb injectors were put when the kit was installed
any help would be appreciated I was hoping for 220-230 at the wheels
thanks

Yea, you should be into the 14's easily. I dynoed at 177hp and 212 tq and I run a 15.01 with clutch problems and bad weather. Good luck!
