too wide?

too wide?

those of you with 11 inch wide rear tires, send me some pics or somthing, im looking to buy some and i need to know how they look.
too wide? wont fit? any problems?

Check the appearance and suspension sectison they talk abotu them all the time in those sections...

11inch...what is that metric wise?

i have 255/40/18's im putting on i dont know how wide that is standerd

255's are 10", and a 279.4 would be 11" exactly. So I suppose 275's or 285's would be what he is looking for.

I think he is tlaking abotu the actual rim...

Its very commone for people to run Zr1 style rims 17X9.5 in the front and 17X11 in the rear... you can put stuff like 315s in the rear on 17X11s... I think I have even heard 335

Check the appearance and suspension sectiosn they talk of what is needed to do this....

If it helps any I have 17X9.5s, with 275/40/17 on all 4 corners. No problems bump or rubbing...

And I have 285/40/17s on all four corners mounted on 17x9½" with no clearance issues.
