Ticking from driver side of 96 camaro

Whats goin on folks. Recently my 96 3.8l camaro started to have a ticking sound from the driver side of my camaro that increases with the rpm. I searched for an exhaust leak and couldnt find one. Anyone know what this could be? Hopefully its something simple because its driving me nuts! Thanks

Pop the hood, and have a friend rev the engine. Take a long cardboard tube, hold one end to your ear, and use the other end to explore under the hood (avoid the belt, fan etc!!!). If you're careful, this can be an effective way to locate problem noises.

Good luck!

absolutely positive there are NO leaks in exhaust? did you try torquing the bolts to factory specs on the headers and the cats back? hate to ask but when's the last oil change?
